Instrumental Mosaic (2026)

by Dietri

This album features songs that I wrote/recorded in 2024, 2025, and early 2026.

Some of the songs are arranged by combining parts that have been recorded many months apart and final edited into one song, hence the album name “Instrumental Mosaic.”

I use a Charvel Super Tele a lot, a 24 fret version with deeper cutout for high frets access, compound radius fretboard, a really good trem system and active Fishman fluence multi voice pickups. Of course many other guitars have also been used, like strat types, Steinberger, and more. I honestly do not remember all the guitar details as so much time has passed between now and the time of recording the song parts.

I am especially proud of the solos in “Double Helix Song” and “Twelf Doesn’t”.

The melody in the song “Nero’s Ascension” is played with an effect from an Eventide H9 pedal, which I find a very tasty preset. It makes the guitar sound almost cello like.

There are different styles of songs here, only a few with drums. I hope you like the album. I will also use it as soundtrack for a motorcycle trip video soon (motorcycle riding is my current hobby).
